Sales Funnel

The sales funnel (also known as a revenue funnel or sales process) is the buying process that businesses take their consumers through when they buy something. The process through which a firm identifies, qualifies, and sells its items to customers is also included in the term.

Any company owner understands the agony of missing a transaction. The prospect goes out of the sales funnel without buying after weeks of presentations and demos, conversation and charm.

It happens all the time. When you have the appropriate sales funnel management expertise, though, it happens less frequently. Patched-together spreadsheets, sticky notes, missed appointments, and forgotten follow-ups have caused gaps in many small company sales funnels.
